The recent cessation of the reciprocal health provision agreement between the UK Government and the Isle of Man and Channel Islands is having a serious impact on UK motorcycle sport.

The Isle of Man TT and the Manx GP are significant revenue earners for both the IOM Govt and the UK Govt and for many years the Health agreement has enabled riders from the mainland to participate in Isle of Man events. The new arrangements are costing the sport in excess of £100,000 in additional insurance to enable riders to compete. In an already depressed sector, these additional pressures are having a detrimental effect on amateur sport.

RAV and the ACU calls for the UK Govt to revisit the agreement.
